Wifey isn’t technically a real word, but it’s slang. It kind of means the same as wife, but is used more casually. People will sometimes call their female friends wifey, it’s especially used between teenage/younger adult girls.

It’s a recent slang term for “wife”. I’ve been hearing it on TV shows and in music. It’s like “hubby” for “husband”. It’s sometimes used condescendingly, so some people don’t like it.
